OUR CHURCH
Cambridge Presbyterian rejoices in the love of Jesus Christ. We are an intimate and diverse family congregation with hospitable hearts, and are always ready to welcome new faces. The city of Cambridge draws families, professionals, and academics from across the globe. We have developed into a unique church that celebrates our ethnic and cultural complexity. Music has become an important element in our worship services that also reflects our rich global heritage. We sing music from a wide range of styles and origins that blends the spectrum of the traditional and contemporary.
We have a heart for people in need. We aim to seek the welfare of the city around us through longstanding traditions of hospitality to internationals, college and university students, seminarians, the hungry, and the homeless. We provide monthly meals to the hungry and actively provide assistance for the many who find themselves without homes. We are constantly on the lookout for innovative ways to meet the needs of the world around us and we invite you to join us in this with Christ!
OUR WORSHIP
SUNDAY SERVICES - 10AM
Our worship is expressed in contemporary, contemplative, traditional and global (especially African) forms, often all of these in a single service. Our witness to the Gospel likewise takes many forms, as a community gathered and dispersed into the world in a multitude of vocations, generations and stations in life.
Please join us after the service for Food and Fellowship, an informal coffee hour with light snacks.
CHILDREN'S WORSHIP
All children are always welcome to remain and participate in the sanctuary worship service each Sunday, according to parents’ preferences. Children's Bibles are available at the welcome table at the back of the church to borrow during the service.
Godly Play (School Year Only)
Children 4 years of age through 6th grade are invited to participate in the Godly Play curriculum downstairs after the praise music set each Sunday. Children will meet with a designated adult at the back of the sanctuary and then escorted to the classroom. At the end of service, the Godly Play teachers will return children to their parents in the fellowship hall.
Childcare (Year Round)
Childcare is located in the downstairs fellowship hall. A short Bible lesson and craft will be offered during this time. Parents are invited to bring their children to the downstairs fellowship hall after the praise music set and pick them up at the end of the worship service.
ADULT CHRISTIAN FORMATION
Adult Sunday school is frequently held on Sundays, 11:45am-12:30pm, after the food and fellowship time. Sunday School does not meet during the summer months.
